I have been an educator for over forty years and have worked with many students who have taken the S.A.T.

Even the brightest have difficulty in achieving a good score if they possess an insufficient vocabulary. Knowledge of word meanings is vital to success on all sections of the test.

A crash preparation course can certainly help improve a student’s vocabulary but such cramming rarely provides the augmentation required to yield a superior test score.

The effective way to develop one’s vocabulary is by repeated, long term exposure to new words and their meaning. Such exposure cannot be obtained from TV, social media sites or video games.

This where the SAText method of vocabulary building can play an integral part.

Once a student is enrolled, each day, everyday, numerous of text messages containing, using and defining common S.A.T. vocabulary words will be sent to him.

All will be short (140 characters or less), to the point and easy to understand. Over time he will accumulate a greatly enhanced vocabulary, all in administered in small allotments, instead of relying solely on the deluge of brain cramping, cramming information used by the tradition prep course.
